    Step to help the poor

    Bharathidasan Got. College for Women and The Alumnae Association of Bharathidasan Govt. College for Women as a step to help the poor and needy students is planning to provide relief materials worth Rs 640/- ( 10 kg Rice, 1 kg sugar, I litre refined oil, half kg tuvar dhal, 1/4 kg tamarind ,1/4 kg red chillies ,one dettol soap and a mask)to 200 students , 15 housekeeping staff and 6 security persons and also an amount of Rs2000/- to 32 guest faculties of our college . The Principal Dr.K.Subramani, the President if BGCWAA Dr. Rajiny Ch.,the Secretary Dr. Noyaline,treasurer Dr. Parimala organized the event with the cooperation of all the Heads of the Departments of the College on 29th April 2020 between 10.00 to 12.30 pm. Also the Health Club Nalam distributed siddha Kabasura kudineer to all student. Sanitizers were placed at various junctions to sanitize and masks were worn by all maintaining social distancing too.

    Bharathidasan Govt College Alumnae Association today organized a one day Tuck Shop as a fund raising event and also inaugurated Free Lunch scheme to 97 students..presided by Honble Minister for Social Welfare and our Principal
